Exit 4 Food Hall Now Open in Mt. Kisco

Former Bellizzi Location on Main Street

After months of anticipation Exit 4 Food Hall has finally opened their doors for business in Mt. Kisco bringing the first of this latest culinary trend to Westchester residents. Exit 4 Food Hall, located at the former Bellizzi site on Main Street offers enticing dining options featuring a variety of different food stations with the finest in local freshly-prepared food and drinks.

This unique, “fresh-casual” eatery is made up of nine individual stations under one roof including: X4 on Tap offers tap beverages, including the best selection of local craft beer, wine and cold-brewed coffee and a late night small plates menu. There’s also a coffee bar serving locally roasted specialty coffees from BPM Roasters and Jones craft soda; Charcuterie 153, creates platters of smoked and cured meats and savory cheeses; at Rawsome Seafood Bar Joe DiMauro’s Mount Kisco Seafood serves its oysters, shrimp and seafood small plates made with locally sourced products. Don’t miss the lobster/shrimp rolls and homemade chowders; Inno Sushi by James, classic sushi bar with fresh grab-and-go or dine-in options; Rotiss-A-Q, Rotisserie-cooked meats prepared by former owner of A&S Marketplace John Cioffi includes chicken, pork and beef. Selections are available in a bowl, taco, burrito or hero, with fresh toppings and sides. Specialty sandwiches are available too, including slow-cooked prime rib; Piacci Pasta Bar, choose from our selection of chef specialties featuring fresh pasta and homemade sauces; Fuoco Wood-Fired Pizza, Fuoco, Italian for fire, serves specialty pizzas with fresh ingredients. Order from the menu, or create your own; Dirty Roots by Myong, local chef Myong puts her special Korean/Asian twist on healthy salads and juices; and Paninis, Sandwiches and Wraps, where Myong serves her creative soups and cello wraps. After over 20 years in the community operating Bellizzi, owner Isi Albanese explains that Exit 4 Food Hall joins the roster of other new restaurants recently opened in Mount Kisco helping to confirm the community’s image as a trendy dining destination spot. “Our main vision at Exit 4 is to provide our guests with a casual, fun and communal experience while giving emerging culinary talent an outlet to create and experiment with new food trends,” said Albanese. “Throughout the past few years we have seen many transformations in Mount Kisco that have had an impact on our business and the timing was just right to try something new. We are excited to be the first to bring this culinary concept to Westchester County.”

The eclectic interior, designed by Albanese himself, is made up of one-of-a-kind elements created by local artisans and craftsmen who built the communal tables and benches from recycled wood salvaged from past storm damage. Exit 4 offers table seating that can accommodate up to 80 guests with comfortable seating in the back lounge area and at the bar. An outdoor seating area will be available in the spring as well as catering and delivery services.

Executive Chef and consultant Rahsaan White leads the Exit 4 culinary team and previously served as a personal chef for heavy-weight boxer Michael Grant. Rahsaan also worked with celebrity chefs Herb Wilson, John Tesar and David Burke. Additionally he was also product tester and chef for Dairyland/Chefs Warehouse which involved approving product for New York State. He recently did a competition at the James Beard Foundation which raised money for local charity foundations and he is currently working on opening his own restaurant Mars Hill NY in Westchester County.

According to Albanese the grand opening will also feature renowned Chef Anthony Scotto, of the original Mario Batali series “How-To Tuesdays” as a visiting chef at Exit 4. The prominent chef, who most recently served as the executive chef for Ricci Ristorante in Milan Italy, Del Posto in New York City and Campagna at the Bedford Post Inn, will be bringing his culinary expertise to the team and guiding the staff on creating different homemade pasta dishes.

Exit 4 which is located at 153 East Main Street, Mt. Kisco, will be open Sunday through Thursday from 11am to 11pm (with kitchen closing at 10pm and bar open with small plates until 11pm) and on Fridays and Saturdays from 11am to 12 midnight (with kitchen closing at 11pm and small plates until midnight).
