Expect A Shock Saturday Morning: Hudson Valley Weekend Weather
Plus snow is in the Sunday forecast for part of the Hudson Valley. Here are the latest details.

HUDSON VALLEY, NY — We've had such a pleasant, mild week, temperature-wise. Expect a shock Saturday morning.
"Winter returns on Friday afternoon, as temperatures will fall back toward normal levels," said Alex Marra and Bill Potter of Hudson Valley Weather.

"From the highest point this week to the lowest point this weekend, temperatures will plunge 25-50 degrees," said Alex Sosnowski, AccuWeather senior meteorologist
Plus, the National Weather Service says winds will also become gusty through Friday night with gusts generally 30 to 35 mph. The strong winds will make it feel like it is in the single digits early Saturday morning across much of the area.

There's a wind advisory out for Dutchess and western Ulster counties.
The NWS says blustery conditions continue into Saturday with temperatures only reaching the lower and middle 30s. High pressure settles over the eastern seaboard Saturday night into Sunday with continued below normal temperatures.
The impact on us, other than getting gloves and hats back out: car doors may freeze shut and any wet areas or standing water will freeze solid.
Until Sunday night, when there's a chance of snow for Orange, Rockland and Westchester counties: chance of snow 30 percent.
