Felony DWI for Croton Man
Police said he was found on 9A slumped over the wheel of his stopped car.
Lawrence Brooks of Croton-on-Hudson, New York, faces a charge of Driving While Intoxicated, a Class E Felony.
State police patrolling State Route 9A on Feb. 14 said they observed a vehicle stopped in the lane of travel. The operator appeared to be slumped over the wheel.
The arresting officer conducted a welfare check of the driver, and concluded the 67-year-old was intoxicated.

Brooks was charged with Felony DWI when a criminal history revealed a previous DWI related conviction from 2009. He was issued traffic tickets directing him to appear before the Town of Cortlandt Court on Feb. 29.
