Felony License Charge For Ossining Man Facing 2nd DWI in 90 Days
State police said he was stopped on Route 9 in Croton-on-Hudson.

CROTON-ON-HUDSON, NY — An Ossining resident who police say they found driving without a license faces his second DWI charge in 90 days.
On Thursday, New York State Police from the Cortlandt barracks arrested Diego F. Aucapina Jarama, 34. He faces a felony charge for driving without a license and a misdemeanor charge of aggravated DWI.
At approximately 3:25 a.m., troopers conducted a traffic stop on a 2016 Chevrolet Silverado on State Route 9 in the village of Croton-on-Hudson for a violation of the vehicle and traffic law. They said they found the operator, Diego Aucapina Jarama, was intoxicated. His license was also found to be suspended due to a previous arrest for DWI.

He had been arrested for DWI on Dec. 31, 2018. He was traveling on Oregon Road in the town of Cortlandt, when he was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation.
Aucapina Jarama was arraigned before the town of Cortlandt Court, and remanded by the Honorable Judge McCarthy to the Westchester County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash bail or secure bond. Aucapina Jarama is next scheduled to appear before the village of Croton-on-Hudson Court on March 27.
