How did you come up with the name?
It's my first name combined with what the studio does best. Gets you FIT
Why choose that location? Why start a business in this town?
I am a resident of Ossining and found the perfect location here with the most incredible view of the river. Residents told me they wanted a unique studio in our community, no machines, TRX and boot camps. I followed their advice
Briefly, what business are you in?
Fitness
What's the most difficult moment or challenge you've faced as a business owner?
Putting a program together for all levels of fitness so that I could create classes for all fitness levels and challenges
Were there any challenges that made you second guess your decision to be an entrepreneur?
Not at all. I do what I love, and love what I do!
What's been your favorite moment or proudest achievement since opening?
Seeing my clients transform in front of my eyes and become healthier, stronger and mentally sharper everyday
What's the most innovative idea your employees or customers have had that you put into practice?
My clients love to hike and swim, so I have incorporated an outside hiking class and I have a boot camp two days a week in the pool at Ossining recreation center
How do you deal with difficult customers?
There aren't any difficult clients, I work with their challenges and when they have a bad day we talk and exercise at the same time.
How does your business give back or get involved in the community?
I have been involved in Ossining Matters, support the chamber of commerce, and am regularly donating classes to all events in our community.
