Former Ossining Player Commits to UConn--as a High School Sophomore
Andra Espinoza-Hunter was a standout basketball player as an eighth-grader.

Andra Espinoza-Hunter, who was part of Ossining’s championship girls basketball team in 2012-13, has given a verbal commitment to play for University of Connecticut, ESPN reports.
Now a high-school sophomore, she plays for Blain Academy in Blainsville, NJ.
ESPN pointed out that Espinoza-Hunter left Ossining after her eighth-grade year with 478 career points, including 99 3-pointers, over two seasons. She was a teammate of current UConn guard Saniya Chong.
