Women's Basketball
Alex Venuto (Ossining '10) was a sharp shooter during her high-school days and that has continued during college.
Venuto shot 4 of 9 from 3-point distance, totalling 12 points in 23 minutes of play, in NYIT's 82-65 triumph against visiting Bridgeport Feb. 25 in its regular-season finale.

Delacruz in States
Ossining's Alex Delacruz competed in the 113-pound bracket of the state Division 1 wrestling tournament at the Albany Times Union Center. Delacruz fell in a hard-fought match to Amsterdam's Brandon Lapi by decision 5-2 in the quarterfinals Feb. 24.
