Greater Ossining Chamber of Commerce Tours the Ossining Food Pantry

On April 22, 2026, a group of local businesspeople and volunteers of the Ossining Food Pantry gathered together as part of the Greater Ossining Chamber of Commerce program ‘Coffee Before Business’. This reoccurring event showcased the Ossining Food Pantry in its home at Grace Trinity Episcopal Church in Ossining.

Heather McArdle, the recently appointed President of the Ossining Food Pantry, gave a tour of the facilities while the Pantry’s Truck Delivery Team unloaded a typical weekly delivery of food for later distribution to the food insecure residents of Ossining and Briarcliff. The Pantry currently serves 450+ families, 1,300+ people every week.

“The Ossining Food Pantry may be the portal today for all these energetic people from our communities to get together, but the Greater Ossining Chamber of Commerce is the organization that made this happen,” said McArdle.“I’m so glad to have been introduced to all these wonderful businesses and know of the connections they have to help one another – and our clients.”

In attendance were Emiljana Ulaj (Westchester County Legislator), multiple volunteers of the Ossining Food Pantry, and multiple members of the Greater Ossining Chamber of Commerce, local business people from The Tarrytown Local, Sun Blue Energy, Schumacher’s Meats Advertising & Design, Westy Storage, Koala Insulation, Mark Seiden Real Estate, Cedar Manor, Atria, Mike Risko Music, Business Development firms, Just Eyes Optometry, and Tax on Hudson. The event promoted networking and sharing solutions to concerns in on helping one another in today’s economy and business environments.

The Ossining Chamber of Commerce regularly spotlights local businesses and provides interesting and engaging networking opportunities in the Greater Ossining area.
