Hazardous Weather Outlooks In The Hudson Valley Sunday

The National Weather Service has updated both a flood advisory and a hazardous weather outlook for southern Westchester County.

• Coastal Flood Advisory in effect from August 13, 12:00 AM EDT until August 13, 02:00 AM EDT
• Hazardous Weather Outlook

For Orange, Putnam, Rockland and northern Westchester, the NWS has a hazardous outlook:

Scattered slow moving heavy showers and/or thunderstorms present a localized risk for 1 to 2 inch/hr rainfall rates and flash flooding this afternoon into early evening.

The Hazardous Weather Outlook for Dutchess and Ulster warns of heavy showers or thunderstorms.

Yesterday's heavy rain caused flooding across the tri-state area. According to the NWS, here are rainfall totals:
