Hollis Lane House Fire

Firefighters from across the region fought a house fire on Hollis Lane in Cortlandt on Monday.

A GoFundMe page set up to help the Kooney family raised more than $10,000.

In addition to the Croton Fire Department, firefighters came from Yorktown Heights, Continental Village, the Montrose VA Hospital FD, Ossining and Pocantico Hills. Ambulances from Croton On Hudson Emergency Medical Services and Ossining Volunteer Ambulance Corps were on scene, and a Cascade Unit from the Buchanan Eng Co.. Battalion 17 from Westchester County Fire Control was also on scene.

Coverage in Croton was provided by an Engine from Montrose FD, a Tower Ladder from Somers Volunteer Fire Department and a Tanker from Bedford Hills Fire Department.
