Hudson Valley Forecast: Snow Showers
On Monday, almost 3 inches of rain was dumped on parts of the region and wind gusts were reported up to 68 mph.

HUDSON VALLEY, NY — The National Weather Service calls for breezy and partly cloudy most of the week, but adds that snow showers are expected after midnight in Orange, Putnam, Rockland and northern Westchester counties. Snow showers are also possible Thursday.
First, let's discuss Monday's storm. The highest amount of rain reported in the Hudson Valley was 2.59 inches at Westchester County Airport. The highest wind gust was also in Westchester: 68 mph at the Tappan Zee Light.
OK, snow showers. A chance for rain and snow showers is predicted after midnight and into Wednesday morning in Orange, Putnam, Rockland and northern Westchester. Snow showers are also possible Thursday.
