HUDSON VALLEY, NY — The storm was a dud when it comes to snow accumulation but the icing concerns were real and continue through most of Tuesday. Many schools are closed across the Hudson Valley, and the National Weather Service warns of slippery road conditions for the evening commute. Wednesday, an arctic cold snap begins.

Winter weather advisories are in place for most of the region. The NWS updated them Tuesday morning.
