Hudson Valley's Best High Schools: New Rankings Released

HUDSON VALLEY, NY — Scarsdale High School is the best public high school in the Hudson Valley, according to a new set of rankings released by Niche.com this week. There are 27 local schools on Niche's new list of New York state's 100 top high schools.

The rankings were released as part of Niche’s 2019 K-12 rankings.

According to Niche, the best public high school in the country is Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy in Aurora, Illinois. Stuyvesant was named New York's best public high school for 2019.

To arrive at these rankings, Niche looked at data from the U.S. Department of Education as well as test scores, college data and ratings collected from Niche users. (You can read more about the methodology here.)
