Indian Chef/Author Rinku Bhattacharya at Ossining Farmers Market, SAT 7/5

Rinku Bhattacharya, the chef and author of the new book, Spices and Seasons - Simple, Sustainable Indian Flavors, will host a cooking demo and book signing at Ossining's Down to Earth Farmers Market this Saturday. She'll offer samples of her Red, White, and Blue Spiced Salad for all to try with a free copy of the recipe to take home. We can then make this recipe - and her many others - in our kitchens with the help of her colorful and inviting cookbook.

Every week, the farmers market brings together local farmers and food makers. They offer the freshest foods around, including fruits and vegetables; pasture-raised meats, poultry, and eggs; breads and baked goods; cheese; pickles; prepared foods to go and much more.

The market is located at the corner of Spring and Main Streets in downtown Ossining. We're open from 8:30 am to 1:00 pm every Saturday. Thank you for supporting your town market!
