Inmate Attacks Corrections Officer At Sing Sing: Report
The New York correctional officers union said the inmate was high on synthetic marijuana, according to News 12.

OSSINING, NY — A corrections officer was hospitalized after he was attacked by an inmate at the Sing Sing Correctional Facility in Ossining Wednesday, News 12 reported.
The New York Correctional Officers and PBA said the inmate, high on synthetic marijuana, charged the officer on the way out of the recreation yard, began punching him, and pulled him to the ground. The officer was treated at Phelps Hospital for face, hand, shoulder and ankle injuries, the media outlet reported.
