Kennedy Catholic's Marrone signs with Swarthmore

Kennedy Catholic senior Ryan Marrone, an Ossining resident, signed a National Letter of Intent to play college baseball at Swarthmore College, which is just outside of Philadelphia.

Marrone, a right-handed pitcher, signed with three of his teammates: seniors Gavin Garay (St. John’s), Griffin Dey (Yale) and Tom Brady (NJIT).

“It’s a great moment today,” Kennedy Catholic head coach Bob Fletcher said. “It’s very exciting to see that we have four boys this year going to play college baseball.”
