Letter To The Editor: School Board President Runs On Record
The Ossining school community's well-being is Lisa Rudley's top priority.

To the Editor from Lisa Rudley, Ossining school board candidate
I hope to have lived up to your expectations in my first term on the Ossining School Board and as the President of the Board for this last year. When I was elected to the board three years ago, I knew the tremendous challenges our district faced to deliver the best, well-rounded education for each and every child and was strongly committed to doing my part.
Over the last decade of severe underfunding from Albany, our school district and community were tasked to do more with much less as our enrollment and student needs continued to grow significantly. I am proud of the work my running mates Frank Schnecker, Graig Galef and our colleagues on the board have done to ensure each student receives a well-rounded education and that we have world-class educators and support staff deeply committed to our children. It is clearly evident by the many student success stories.

Today, our society is facing one of the most difficult and turbulent times in modern history.
Across our state, country, and world, we have endured enormous loss of life, financial insecurity, and reality as we knew it. I know with our perseverance, we will emerge stronger and even more resilient as we bridge our past and new realities together. I am also painfully aware this will not be without more sacrifices.
The well-being of our school community while delivering the best education for each student and maintaining a fiscally sound budget, continues to be my highest priority. I would be honored to get your vote of confidence with my dedicated and impactful running mates, Frank Schnecker and Graig Galef to serve another term on the Ossining School Board.
