'Local News: Photojournalism by Stuart Bayer' Exhibit Opens at the Pleasantville Black Cow

Historic, heartwarming, eye-catching moments captured in 30 years of local news photos are on show at the Pleasantville coffeehouse.

This exhibit of local photojournalism by Buchanan resident Stuart Bayer spans his nearly 30-year career as a photojournalist in the lower Hudson Valley.

Even if you can't make the opening reception from 4-6 p.m. May 4, visit the exhibit at the Black Cow Company, 7 Wheeler Ave., Pleasantville.

Bayer has taken hundreds of photos for publications including Patch, The Journal News and the Patent Trader, documenting life in our Westchester, Rockland and Putnam communities. Patch work includes two years of weekend galleries, a couple of prize winners you can see here and a first-person piece for Father's Day 2012.
