Mariandale Center Showcases Artwork of Sr. Marion Beagen, OP
The artwork will be on exhibit from April 30-May 31. A reception will be held on Aug. 30, 4 p.m.

From Mariandale Retreat and Conference Center: The artistic works of Dominican Sister of Hope, Sister Marion Beagen, OP will be on display at the Mariandale Retreat and Conference Center in Ossining, NY through May 31, 2017. Potpourri of Watercolors features watercolor paintings of this Dominican Sister of Hope who began painting at age 70. Now, at age 87, Sr. Marion has agreed to share her beautiful vision with us through these works.

Sr. Marion's life is filled with an appreciation for art. Throughout her education, she often spent her study hall periods and free time in the art and music studios.
Sr. Marion became inspired at age 70 to begin painting. Her rich approach to the use of color and appreciation for nature and her surroundings envelop her work.

Sister’s work will be on display beginning Sunday, April 30 in the chapel at Mariandale and is open to the public Monday through Friday from 10 am to 4 pm. Admission is by free will donation.
There will be a reception for the artist on Sunday, April 30 from 4 pm to 6 pm. Refreshments will be served. RSVP is required. Please email mariandale@ophope.org or call 914-941-4455 ext. “0”

The Mariandale Retreat and Conference Center is an ecumenical retreat center located an hour north of Manhattan in Ossining, New York on the Hudson River.
