Mele Stands Out

Croton resident, 's Frankie Mele, qualified to bowl in the boys state tournament according to Mike Zacchio's work on LoHud.com.

The state tournament will be held Saturday and Sunday, March 3 and 4, at the Valley Bowling Center in Waverly.

MSG Varsity Girls

MSG Varsity previewed No. 1 Ossining's Section 1 Class AA girls basketball semifinal against No. 4 John Jay East Fishkill, which is scheduled for 4:45 p.m. Thursday, March 1.

Horton's Career Night

Former Ossining standout Ken Horton scored a career-high 39 points, grabbed 13 rebounds, had five assists and six steals as the Central Connecticut men's basketball team rolled to a 78-63 home victory over Mount St. Mary's on Thursday night (Feb. 23).
