Mike Risko Music Supports Recently Awarded School Music Education Program

Mike Risko Music School in Ossining is proud to have been a behind the scenes contributor to the success of the Ossining School district music education program. The district recently announced their distinction as the National Association for Music Merchants Foundation as a “Best Community for Music Education” for 2015. Last year Mike Risko Music was the recipient of the “Top 100 Music Retailers” award from the same Foundation. This global distinction was earned by Mike Risko Music after only a few years of expanding their music school with the opening of the music store to serve the local community and surrounding school districts. The winner for 2015 in this category will be selected later this year and Mike Risko Music is once again a strong contender and confident they will gain this designation for their music store located within the Mike Risko Music school.

For the last 20 years Mike Risko Music has aided several school districts with all that they offer for musically inclined students. Through their strong instrument rental program that offers high quality instruments, sheet music and books as well as instrument repair services, Mike Risko Music has been able to meet the needs of students involved in local music education programs.
