How did you come up with the name?
I really wanted to be a part of Croton’s business community and liked the idea of Croton being in the name.
Why choose that location? Why start a business in this town?
Lots of foot and car traffic and can’t beat the views. This town is huge on supporting localbusiness and so many animal lovers.
Briefly, what business are you in?
Pet Grooming
What’s the most difficult moment or challenge you’ve faced as a business owner?
Getting the doors open. There are quite a few hoops to jump through but they are so worth it. You always have to work hard for what you want and if love what you do, even better.
Were there any challenges that made you second guess your decision to be an entrepreneur?
No, I have never been more sure about anything. It was the right time to go for it.
What’s been your favorite moment or proudest achievement since opening?
My doors will not be opening until mid-September.
How do you deal with difficult customers?
The customer is always right, we all know that and do our very best to accommodate them.
How does your business give back or get involved in the community?
Plan on being involved in many things such as CHEF and Croton Youth Lacrosse and Little League... Will also be buying product from local sources as well. Want to also offer free first grooming to those who rescue dogs. I will be reaching out to local shelters with this offer.
