Obituary: Jean Tuttle D'Angelo
An Ossining HIgh School graduate, she was an international editor at Readers Digest.

Jean Tuttle D’Angelo, a resident of Ossining, passed away Wednesday, January 15, 2020. Jean was born in Ossining on March 2, 1937 and was the daughter of the late Charles and Frances (Partelow) Stevens. She was 82. Jean was a graduate of Ossining High School Class of 1955.
She married Donald Earl Tuttle and lived in Crotonville till 1965 when she moved to Croton, she then worked for Readers Digest and retired as an International Editor.
She married Thomas “Flip” D’Angelo on October 9, 1982 at St. Ann’s Church in Ossining. She and Flip spent the summers in Roscoe, NY and winters in Spring Hill, FL. while they maintained their residence in Ossining.

She was an avid swimmer in the Hudson and Croton rivers, while she was in Roscoe N.Y., she swam in the Beaverkill.

Mrs. D’Angelo is survived by her sons Peter and David (Bobbi) Tuttle. 4 Grandchildren Timothy, Tara, Jake and Katie; 3 Great-grandchildren Tori, Carter and Kayleigh. She is predeceased by her husbands Donald Tuttle and Thomas (Flip) D’Angelo; her son Timothy; her siblings Robert Stevens, Shirley Tierney, Edith Lois Stevens and Doris Mae Stevens.
A Memorial Visitation is Saturday 2-6 p.m. at Dorsey Funeral Home in Ossining, with service at 5 p.m. Interment private.
