Obituary: Robert H. Rummel Of Croton-On-Hudson

Robert H. Rummel – 82 – A resident of Croton-On-Hudson, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 2, 2020. Robert was born in Manhattan on May 23, 1938 and was the son of the late Herman and Emma (Kunzmann) Rummel.

Bob was a graduate of Croton Harmon High School and attended Syracuse University. He was a Veteran of the United States Air Force from 1958-1961. He was an avid outdoorsman and had a deep respect for all things great and small.

Mr. Rummel is survived by his loving wife Susan (Carosella); his daughter Anita (Richard) Rothrock; his granddaughters Emma, Anika and Kaija; his sisters Elizabeth (Edward) Herko and Rita Wilcox; his sister-in-law Barbara Rummel and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother David & brother-in-law Charles Wilcox.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 10-11am at Dorsey Funeral Home, 14 Emwilton Place, with the Funeral Mass to follow at 11:30am at St. Augustine’s Church, 381 N. Highland Avenue, Ossining NY 10562. The interment will follow at St. Augustine’s Cemetery. He will be always loved and missed and never forgotten.
