OSSINING, NY — Just a few hours after its annual parade, the Ossining Fire Department was called out to a fire in the historic Olive Opera House. It started out as a basement fire but proved stubborn to put out.
Among the neighboring fire departments responding to help either at the scene or to cover the rest of the village were Croton-on-Hudson, Yorktown Heights, Thornwood, Millwood, and Tarrytown.
No residents were displaced by the fire.
