Ossining Bridges Digital Divide with Affordable Connectivity Program

The Ossining Union Free School District (OUFSD) is excited to announce its participation in the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP), a federal initiative that offers a $30 discount on monthly internet bills for eligible households. This program aims to bridge the digital divide, ensuring that all families have access to essential online resources.

All OUFSD Schools are proud to be designated as Community Eligible Provisioned Schools, making every household with children attending these schools eligible for the ACP benefit. The district is committed to fostering digital inclusion and believes that this initiative will significantly contribute to enhancing educational opportunities for students.

In an effort to streamline the application process for our community members, OUFSD will be issuing a confirmation letter to households with children attending district schools who are enrolled in the Free and Reduced-Price School Lunch Program or School Breakfast Program for School Year 2023-2024. This letter serves as both proof of eligibility and a crucial document needed to apply for the ACP.

To access the ACP benefit, eligible households can use the confirmation letter to complete the application through the ACP registration portal: www.getinternet.gov. It is imperative that families retain this letter as evidence of eligibility throughout the application process.
