OSSINING, NY — Ossining police are investigating an incident Saturday night that left three people with apparent knife wounds. It does not appear to have been a random attack, police said.

"We need the assistance of the community," police said. "Broad Avenue is a busy place where people like to congregate, particularly during nice weather. It’s a place full of families who are working to give their children opportunities. Incidents like this are becoming too common."

All three victims were taken to the hospital; their injuries did not appear life-threatening, police said.
