Ossining Educators Honored for Outstanding Contributions to Education
Marcela Levin and Allison Bacon earned awards for Bilingual Education Support and Outstanding Innovative Teacher, respectively.

Marcela Levin, Ossining Social Worker, has been awarded the 2023 NYSABE Bilingual Education Support Personnel Award. This honor recognizes her outstanding contributions to supporting bilingual education and students' language development. Marcela has been a dedicated member of the Ossining School District for several years, working tirelessly to support to students and families. Her dedication to providing bilingual support services has been instrumental in fostering a welcoming and inclusive learning environment for all students.
Allison Bacon, Coordinator of Instructional Technology, has been awarded the LHRIC TELL Award for Outstanding Innovative Teacher. This prestigious honor is awarded to educators who demonstrate exceptional creativity and dedication to using technology and innovative teaching strategies to engage and inspire their students. The award recognizes Allison's exceptional work in integrating technology into the classroom and creating a dynamic and impactful learning environment for her students.
