Ossining High School Student Awarded Running Goddess Scholarship
The Running Goddess awarded over $6,000 in scholarships recently, including a $1,250 scholarship to Alyson Winter from Ossining High School.

On June 18th, The Running Goddess awarded our charities at Cross Sport Woman in Katonah, NY. Proceeds from our "Power Of One" 5K held on June 1st in Lasdon Park, will help fund organizations that support women's health and education globally and locally:
-KEEP/Apne Aap International- $3,300- helping at risk girls in India.
-TRG/Smart Girls Get Science program at Westmoreland Sanctuary- $1,200- a summer science program created for girls in grades 6-8 from The Boys and Girls Club of Northern Westchester.
-The Running Goddess Scholarship- $1,250- The TRG 2014 Scholarship was awarded to Ms. Alyson Winter from Ossining High School. Alyson will be attending Providence College this fall.
-The Running Goddess International Scholarship- $1,000- Offered to a current student from Asian University for Women in Bangladesh. The TRG/AUW 2014 Scholarship was awarded to Ms. Moumita Saha.
