Ossining Man Enters Plea In Fatal Crash That Killed His Friend
The crash happened around 3:30 a.m. on July 3 in southern New Jersey.

Ossining resident Anthony Lorenz will serve up to 6 years in prison in New Jersey for driving while intoxicated and causing a fatal car crash.
The Burlington County Prosecutor's Office said in a press release that the then-20-year-old was driving in Southampton, New Jersey a little after 3:30 a.m. on July 3 when the SUV left the road and hit a guardrail, tree stump and utility pole.
The crash killed his friend, who was a passenger in the car. Roy Song was pronounced dead at the scene. A third person in the car was treated for a fractured sternum and Lorenz suffered minor injuries.

Song was a 2018 graduate of Ossining High School.
Lorenz pleaded guilty in Burlington County Superior Court April 6 to a second-degree charge of vehicular homicide, third-degree assault by auto and a summons of driving while intoxicated.

Lorenz will be sentenced on May 25. Prosecutors said he will have to serve at least 85 percent of his sentence before he can be considered for parole.
