Ossining Officials Prepping For Weekend Storm
To stay informed during the storm, follow the Ossining Police Department Facebook Page, officials said.
OSSINING, NY — Ossining village officials sent out a message Friday about the weekend forecast:
Snow plows and salt trucks are ready! The public works team has already pretreated a number of key roadways.
When the storm hits, please help keep everyone safe by staying off the roadways if at all possible.
If you lose power, notify ConEd immediately. Before the storm even begins, you can use your cell phone to sign up for text notifications. Have your ConEd account number handy, and click here to register for outage and restoration updates.
We are continuing to monitor the storm. At this time the village has not declared a snow emergency. To stay informed during the storm, follow the Ossining Police Department Facebook Page, and subscribe to Nixle to receive emergency messages by texting 10562 to 888777. Stay warm and safe out there!
