Ossining Readies for Memorial Day
The parade ends with the ceremony at Nelson Park.

OSSINING, NY — As is its tradition, on Monday the Ossining Memorial Day parade will step off from the top of Croton Avenue at 9:30 a.m. The parade will include participation by all local first responder agencies, as well as community organizations like the scouts, Corinthian Lodge, Ossining Boat & Canoe Club and of course, local veterans organizations.
The parade route winds down Croton Avenue, Main Street and Spring Street, culminating in Nelson Park. All are invited to attend a Memorial Day ceremony there presented by the Central Committee of Organized War Veterans for the Town of Ossining. \This year's key note speaker will be Ossining resident Steven Felsenfeld, a veteran of the US Navy.
During the ceremony at Nelson Park, local, county and state elected officials will join veterans organizations in laying memorial wreaths.
