Two Ossining High School seniors, Thomas Y. Cong and Candice J. Yu, have advanced to the final stage of the 69th annual National Merit Scholarship Program. Their outstanding academic achievements have positioned them as finalists, a distinction earned by less than one percent of high school seniors across the United States.

To reach this stage, Thomas and Candice underwent a rigorous selection process, including their performance on the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT®) during their junior year, showcasing their exceptional academic prowess and dedication to their studies.

"Thomas and Candice epitomize the incredible talent within our student body at Ossining High School, and this achievement highlights our commitment to nurturing growth and success,” said Principal LaToya Langley.
