Ossining Train Station, Access Bridges Closed: OPD

OSSINING, NY — The Ossining train station is closed, with flooding on the tracks and in the parking lots.

In fact, service across Metro-North was extremely limited Thursday morning after having been suspended entirely overnight due to the heavy rainfall and flooding from post-tropical-cyclone Ida.

Both Snowden and Secor Avenue bridges are closed.

Ossining High School is on a two-hour delay and morning pre-kindergarten is canceled. District officials asked families to anticipate some bus delays due to the last night's storm.

Flash flooding on roads including Route 9, Route 9A and Revolutionary Road led to several rescues of stranded drivers and passengers.
