Prepare For A Heat Index Of 90 Degrees, Hudson Valley

A warm front is coming in with the kind of humidity our bodies still remember from early August.

"On Wednesday, high temperatures ahead of a cold front will generally range from near 80 to the lower 90s across the region," said Maura Kelly, AccuWeather meteorologist. "It will feel even warmer with AccuWeather RealFeel® Temperatures in the low to upper 90s."

Hudson Valley Weather puts it another way.

"Hot weather away from the immediate coasts today, with highs approaching 90 west of the Hudson River," says the National Weather Service.

The rest of the week looks lovely, and here's a sneak peak at the weekend.

• Thursday-Mostly cloudy. A chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly in the morning. Highs in the upper 70s. North winds around 5 mph. Chance of rain 40 percent.
• Thursday Night-Mostly cloudy. Lows in the mid 50s. Northeast winds 5 to 10 mph.
• Friday-Mostly sunny. Highs around 70. East winds 5 to 10 mph. Gusts up to 20 mph in the afternoon.
• Friday Night-Partly cloudy. Lows in the upper 50s.
• Saturday-Mostly cloudy. A chance of showers in the afternoon. Highs in the upper 70s. Chance of rain 30 percent.
• Saturday Night-Mostly cloudy. A chance of showers in the evening. Lows in the lower 60s. Chance of rain 30 percent.
• Sunday-Mostly sunny. Highs in the upper 70s.
• Sunday Night-Partly cloudy in the evening, then clearing. Lows in the upper 50s.
