Severe Thunderstorm Warnings Issued For Parts Of Hudson Valley
A severe thunderstorm watch is in effect for the entire region, the National Weather Service said.

HUDSON VALLEY, NY — Thunderstorms are in the forecast for much of the Hudson Valley, and depending on your location, they could be severe.
The National Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstorm warning for Ulster, western Dutchess and southern Greene counties.
It is in effect until 8:15 p.m. Sunday.

The weather service said, at 7:12 p.m., severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Roscoe to Paradise Valley, moving northeast at 65 mph.
A severe thunderstorm warning was issued at 7:57 p.m. for Orange, Putnam, Rockland and Westchester counties. It is in effect until 9 p.m.

For both warning areas, there could be 60 mph wind gusts, and damage can be expected to roofs, siding and trees.
A severe thunderstorm watch was issued at 7:14 p.m. Sunday for Columbia, Dutchess, Orange, Putnam, Rockland, Ulster and Westchester counties.
It is in effect until 2 a.m. Monday, the weather service said.
A squall line with scattered thunderstorms is expected Sunday evening. A few of the thunderstorms may produce damaging wind gusts.
