Who Chucked A Rock Through The Historic Library's Front Window?

The Hendrick Hudson Library said the vandalism happened between 2 and 3 a.m., and asked anyone with information to call NY State Police.

MONTROSE, NY — A Westchester County library said it experienced heartbreaking vandalism overnight on Friday.

The historic Hendrick Hudson Library said one of its large front windows was shattered between in the early morning hours of Friday. According to the library, the window was struck by a large rock, which can be seen in a photo posted by the library.

"We regret to share that the library experienced an act of vandalism overnight," the library said in a statement, posted to social media."One of our large front windows was shattered between approximately 2:00 and 3:00 a.m. after being struck by a large Rock."

Library officials asked anyone with information about the late night vandalism to contact the New York State Police.
