SAT 5/30: Calling All Kids to Ossining Farmers Market
Plant a Seed, Start a Garden: A collaboration for learning with the Ossining Public Library & the Ossining Organic Community Garden

This Saturday, May 30th, join us for the first part of a two-part event to inspire children to learn how our gardens grow. Down to Earth Markets, together with our friends, The Ossining Public Library and the Ossining Organic Community Garden, will offer “Plant a Seed … Start a Garden.”
Kids of all ages are invited to visit the Ossining Farmers Market this Saturday from 10 am to noon to plant seeds in starter kits.
Then in two weeks on Saturday, June 13th – as the seeds become plants reaching to the sky – everyone is welcome to nestle their seedlings into the soil of the Ossining Organic Community Garden. The June 13th planting will take place from 3-4 pm and include storytelling, fresh food tastings, and more.
