There are plenty of upcoming chances to help tend to our democracy close to the roots. Several public meetings are scheduled for this week that affect Croton and Ossining.

- Ossining village Zoning Board of Appeals, 7 p.m., John Paul Rodrigues Ossining Operations Center
- Cortlandt Town Board, 6 p.m., work session
- Ossining Town Board, 7:30 p.m.

- Ossining village Board of Trustees: special meeting outside 16 Croton Ave. at 6:30 p.m. followed by a work session. Among the items on the agenda: Cannabis Zoning for Micro-business & Cultivation.
- Ossining Board of Education, 7:30 p.m. Anne M. Dorner Middle School cafeteria. The public can view this meeting live on our YouTube channel. Members of the public who want to comment and ask questions can register here for the video conference. The Board of Education will conduct a Work Session on Equity: Continued Budget Discussions; and the AMD Action Plan. Please click here for more details on the agenda of this meeting. It is anticipated that the Board of Education will enter into Executive Session following the Board meeting to discuss personnel matters. No formal action will be taken. This board meeting will also be recorded and shared with the public on our YouTube channel and posted to the District website.
