HUDSON VALLEY, NY — The weather's been so crazy that even the National Weather Service has become chatty. Here's what they posted Friday night for the Hudson Valley:
It's certainly been a wet period of weather the past several days, with some climate locations nearing 3 inches of rain since the Equinox. An area of low pressure will depart further to the northeast tonight. Some leftover drizzle may linger into the early part of the night in the eastern sections, but for the most part, we`ll see clearing and cool temperatures. An area of high pressure will settle across the region Saturday and build and strengthen Sunday. This high will assure us of a dry seasonable weekend.
That's what the NWS says. Hudson Valley Weather points out that it's going to get cold Saturday night - the low could get as low as 43 degrees.
