Girls basketball
Ossining's girls squad will also get in the action as it is participating in the girls Section 1 Class AA tournament and LoHud's Rob Cristino and Yaron Weitzman preview it here.
They feel that Ossining will win the tournament and come away with the Gold Ball given to the winner of it. Pride superstar Saniya Chong is obviously one of their candidates for tournament MVP.
Croton-Harmon is also competing in the postseason, in the Class B tournament.
Tiger girls win
Speaking of the Croton-Harmon girls basketball squad, it completed its best season in eight years with a 45-41 triumph against visiting Hendrick Hudson Feb. 10.
Dani Douglas recorded a game-high 17 points for the Tigers, who finished the regular season at 11-7.
For more scores, see Cristino's post on the LoHud Girls Basketball Blog.
