2nd Storm Warning For Rockland, Westchester: UPDATE
Also, Orange, Putnam, Rockland and part of Westchester are under a flood advisory till 9 p.m.

UPDATE 8:12 p.m. — The National Weather Service is tracking a second severe thunderstorm expected to affect Rockland and Westchester counties. The warning expires at 8:45 p.m.
At 807 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Paterson, moving northeast at 45 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.

- Tappan and Orangeburg around 825 PM EDT.
- Tarrytown and Dobbs Ferry around 830 PM EDT.
- White Plains and Harrison around 835 PM EDT.
- Stamford and Mount Kisco around 845 PM EDT.
Rockland and northern Westchester counties are under a severe thunderstorm warning until 8 p.m. In addition, Orange, Putnam, Rockland and part of Westchester are under a flood advisory till 9 p.m.

A 720 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Sloatsburg, moving northeast at 40 mph.
- HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
- SOURCE...Radar indicated.
- IMPACT...Minor hail damage to vehicles is possible. Expect wind damage to trees and power lines.
