Shop Local for the Holidays and Support OHS Scholarships

Tis’ the season for holiday shopping and why not shop in your hometown and simultaneously support the students in your school district. Visit your favorite shops in-store or online now through December 31 and a portion of your purchase will be donated to the Ossining High School Scholarship Fund. The monies raised through the scholarship fund donations are awarded to seniors who have demonstrated a strong commitment to community service and plan to transition directly into the workforce or students who plan to attend a four- year, two-year or certificate bound programs.

Over 50 local merchants from restaurants and yoga studios to jewelers and book stores are supporting the Ossining High School Scholarship Fundraiser. Simply show your school spirit this holiday season just by mentioning OHS Scholarship Fund before you make your purchase. “What a great way to check off your holiday shopping list and give back to your community at the same time,” said Diana Goldstein, chair of the Fundraiser. “We all have to spend money and shop this time of the year so why not benefit our students and support our local merchants.”
