ShopRite Supermarkets Donate $765,000 to Hudson Valley Vets
Store employees hosted events and raised money from customers to give to more than six veterans' groups in the region.

ShopRite Supermarkets, Inc., recently presented a check for $765,000 to local veterans’ organizations, including The Tower of Hope, Committee for Families of War Veterans, Hudson Valley Honor Flight, Orange County Veterans Food Pantry, Tri County Council for Vietnam Era War Veterans and Unified Military Affairs Council.
The funds were raised during its eighth annual Veterans Fundraising Campaign, where ShopRite stores throughout the Hudson Valley and Capital Region in New York, along with three New Jersey stores, collected donations at checkout from May 27 – August 15 and hosted a number of in-store events – from car washes, raffles, bake sales, and 5K runs and walks for Veterans – to raise the funds.
