Sledding Accident At Croton Gorge Park
A 15-year-old was taken to the hospital Thursday.
CROTON-ON-HUDSON, NY — A 15-year-old was injured in a sledding accident at Croton Gorge Park Thursday afternoon.
At 3:39 p.m., Westchester County Police officers responded to the park and found the Croton Fire Department and emergency medical services already there.
The 15-year-old boy was sledding down a hill when he struck a tree, Westchester police said. The youth was conscious and alert while being treated by EMS. The Croton Volunteer Ambulance Corps transported him to Westchester Medical Center.
