Chance Of Snow Showers For the Hudson Valley Weekend

The weekend will be wintry across the Hudson Valley. Snow showers are possible Sunday in some areas, and everyplace is going to be cold.

Saturday could be the better outside day, as highs will be in the 40s.

Sneak preview: Thanksgiving looks to be precipitation-free, even sunny, with highs in the upper 30s to low 40s.

"A break from big storms is coming during the week of Thanksgiving and may last through the end of the month," said Alex Sosnowski, AccuWeather senior meteorologist

Here's the regional weekend forecast:

• Friday night: windy and cold, low around 30 degrees.
• Saturday: mix of sun and clouds, highs in the low to mid 40s.
• Saturday night: partly cloudy. wind chill near 20 degrees.
• Sunday: mix of clouds and sun, highs in the 30s.
• Sunday night: possible rain showers or snow showers, lows in the mid 20s.
