State Cops Targeted Impaired Drivers In Putnam, Westchester

OSSINING, NY — Over the Presidents Day weekend, state police from Troop K arrested 24 drivers for various alleged impairments. Among them were several in or from Putnam and Westchester. Those included:

• On February 16, 2018, State Police from SP Somers arrested Vladimir Rusnak, age 43, of Mount Kisco, NY, for DWI. He was traveling in the town of Somers, NY, when he was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. Investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol and was subsequently arrested.
• On February 17, 2018, State Police from SP Hawthorne arrested Sergio P. Sosa Guerrero, age 40, of Ossining, NY, for DWI. He was traveling on the Sprain Brook Parkway in the city of Yonkers, NY, when he was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. Investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol and was subsequently arrested.
• On February 17, 2018, State Police from SP Brewster arrested John D. Taveras Espinal, age 31, of Danbury, CT, for DWI. He was traveling on State Route 6 in the town of Southeast, NY, when he was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. Investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol and was subsequently arrested.
• On February 17, 2018, State Police from SP Hawthorne arrested Aaron Vazquez, age 28, of Bronx, NY, for DWI. He was traveling on the Sprain Brook Parkway in the city of Yonkers, NY, when he was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. Investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol and was subsequently arrested.
• On February 17, 2018, State Police from SP East Fishkill arrested Kevin F. Lang, age 31, of Mahopac, NY, for DWI. He was traveling on State Route 121 in the town of Southeast, NY, when he was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. Investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol and was subsequently arrested.
• On February 17, 2018, State Police from SP Mohegan Lake arrested Omar E. Rubio, age 25, of Peekskill, NY, for DWI. He was traveling on State Route 9 in the town of Cortlandt, NY, when he was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. Investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol and was subsequently arrested.
• On February 17, 2018, State Police from SP Brewster arrested Alfred Dajanaj, age 32, of Brewster, NY, for DWI. He was traveling on State Route 22 in the town of Southeast, NY, when he was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. Investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol and was subsequently arrested.
• On February 17, 2018, State Police from SP Hawthorne arrested Stacey J. Vigliotti, age 43, of Eastchester, NY, for DWI. She was traveling on the Sprain Brook Parkway in the town of Greenburgh, NY, when she was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. Investigation revealed that she was impaired by alcohol and was subsequently arrested.
• On February 17, 2018, State Police from SP Somers arrested Patrick C. Mirville, age 61, of Pearl River, NY, for DWI. He was traveling in the town of Lewisboro, NY, when he was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. Investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol and was subsequently arrested.
• On February 18, 2018, State Police from SP Lewisboro arrested Robert B. Harrington, age 55, of Bedford Hills, NY, for DWI. He was traveling on State Route 100 in the town of Somers, NY, when he was involved in a property damage motor vehicle crash. Investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol and was subsequently arrested.
• On February 18, 2018, State Police from SP Poughkeepsie arrested Alexander K. Haidei, age 19, of Brewster, NY, for DWAI Drugs. He was traveling on State Route 55 in the town of Beekman, NY, when he was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. Investigation revealed that he was impaired by drugs and was subsequently arrested.
• On February 18, 2018, State Police from SP Hawthorne arrested Margolyn L. Rattray, age 20, of Ossining, NY, for DWI. She was traveling on the Sprain Brook Parkway in the city of Yonkers, NY, when she was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. Investigation revealed that she was impaired by alcohol and was subsequently arrested.
• On February 19, 2018, State Police from SP Brewster arrested Alfred Dajanaj, age 32, of Brewster, NY, for DWI. He was traveling on State Route 22 in the town of Southeast, NY, when he was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. Investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol and was subsequently arrested. Dajanaj was also arrested on February 17, 2018 for DWI.
• On February 19, 2018, State Police from SP Cortlandt arrested Nicaumy Gonzalez, age 30, of Peekskill, NY, for DWI. She was traveling on State Route 9 in the town of Cortlandt, NY, when she was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. Investigation revealed that she was impaired by alcohol and was subsequently arrested.
• On February 19, 2018, State Police from SP Cortlandt arrested Meredith A. Donahue, age 36, of Croton-on Hudson, NY, for DWI. She was traveling in the town of Cortlandt, NY, when she was involved in a motor vehicle crash. Investigation revealed that she was impaired by alcohol and was subsequently arrested.
