Stephen Reilly, Former Ossining Police Detective
A wake and a funeral service will take place in Ossining the week of April 16.

Thomas Stephen Reilly, formerly of Ossining, died after a long illness on April 3, 2017. He was born at the old Ossining Hospital on October 15, 1955 to Philip & Mary Jane (Keegan) Reilly.
Stephen, aka “Mole," worked as a Police Officer for the Ossining Police Department for 22 years, retiring as a Detective.
He and his wife, Mary Margaret Monahan, recently moved to Myrtle Beach, S.C.

Stephen was a member of many organizations including the Police Emerald Society of Westchester where he served as an officer and was awarded “Irishman of the Year." He was an officer of the NYS Federation of Police, belonged to the Fraternal Order of Police both in N.Y. and S.C., as well as the Coastal Carolina Shields.
Stephen very much enjoyed traveling with his wife, especially their cruises. He loved golf, was an avid card fan, a daily crossword puzzler and enjoyed watching all sports. Stephen loved to make people laugh, with his keen sense of humor and his Irish wit, he was always ready with a story or a joke.

He is survived by his wife, son Thomas, sister Patricia, many cousins both in the U.S and abroad, and Wolfie, his adoring poodle.
A memorial wake will be Monday, April 17th from 4-8pm at Leach & Thomas Funeral Home, at its new location, 45 S. Highland Ave. Mass of Christian burial Tuesday, April 18th at St. Ann’s Church at 10am, burial St. Augustine’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of your choice appreciated.
