Student Reports Suspicious Man, Car Near AMD

OSSINING, NY — An Ossining middle-school student reported that she was approached by a strange man in a car while walking home.

The suspicious incident took place Tuesday.

Ossining police assured residents that they "walk the schools" every day and are present at dismissal times.

Ossining school officials asked parents to remind children not to interact with strangers.

Anyone who notices anything unusual is asked to call the police. The emergency number is 911, of course; the non-emergency number is 941-4099.
