Travel only if necessary, commuter railroad officials say.

HUDSON VALLEY, NY — Metro-North Railroad has issued a Winter Weather Advisory Saturday morning. Strong winds with gusts up to 50 mph are expected across the region, according to the National Weather Service.
Customers should anticipate possible delays due to the effects of the rain and high winds throughout our service territory. Customers are ruged to travel only if necessary. Please exercise caution getting to and from our stations, and listen for announcements.
Almost 200,000 customers were out of power Friday, according to the four utilities serving the Hudson Valley. Putnam, Orange, Dutchess and Ulster counties were also digging out from 4-13 inches of snow.
